Multi-factor authentication required on every sign-in; centrally managed, encrypted endpoints via Microsoft Intune with full-disk encryption; compliant-devices-only access; filtered, encrypted, and archived email (AppRiver, with SPF/DKIM/DMARC); DNS-layer threat filtering (Webroot); weekly patching; daily on-site, off-site, and cloud backups; and ongoing staff security training.

Controls are aligned with SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA safeguards, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and the Microsoft security baseline.

Responsible AI Use

AI, used carefully and with human review

Apex operates under a written AI Use Policy governing internal tool use. Where AI touches protected health information, Apex operates under an executed Business Associate Agreement with Anthropic. Any AI-assisted work is subject to mandatory human, licensed-advisor review before it reaches a client, and Apex's enterprise AI infrastructure maintains zero AI data retention.
